TOYOTA CITY, JAPAN, April 6, 2023 – SkyDrive Inc. (“SkyDrive”), a leading electric vertical takeoff & landing (eVTOL) aircraft manufacturer based in Japan, today announced that it secured additional funding in its Series C round.
In September 2022, the company successfully raised 9.6 billion yen in Series C*.
MUFG Bank, Ltd., one of Japan’s largest financial institutions, increased its capital and a target fund, including Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., newly invested in Series C.
Thanks to the successful fundraising efforts, SkyDrive is pleased to announce that its cumulative funding has now exceeded 15 billion yen as of April 6, 2023.
