SkyDrive is pleased to announce the schedule for demonstration flights of the SKYDRIVE (SkyDrive-type SD-05 model), SkyDrive’s eVTOL aircraft, at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (Expo 2025). These demonstration flights will start on Thursday, 31 July 2025.
■Viewing Location and Flight Schedule
◎Location
Flights will take off and land at the EXPO Vertiport, an eVTOL takeoff an landing facility located within the Mobility Experience section of the Expo 2025 site. The vertiport is sponsored and operated by ORIX Corporation.
The Mobility Experience section of the Expo 2025 site is approximately 8 to 10-minutes walk from the site’s West Gate.

The latest information on SkyDrive’s Expo 2025 flights will be available via the official EXPO 2025 Visitors’app (*2) and SkyDrive’s own social media account (*3).
(*1) “eVTOL” is an abbreviation for electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing. As the name suggests, eVTOL aircraft can take off and land without a runway. eVTOLs are powered by electricity and incorporate advanced, automatic, flight control technology.
(*2) The EXPO 2025 Visitors app is the official app of Expo 2025. In-app features include information on pavilions and restaurants and other onsite facilities, a map that shows your current location, and a variety of other Expo-related services.
